  1. Using the Compucom Speedmodem with RemoteAccess BBS Software:

  3. This is by no means a technical document on all the different ways to
  4. initialize your CompuCom Speedmodem for RA v.10, but a SIMPLE guide...

  6. oo ..Be sure the Speedmodem ROM version is at least 2.51. Type ATI3...
  7. \/ ..from any communications program in TERMINAL mode for results...

  10. oo ..RA REQUIRES a FOSSIL. Be sure to setup your com-port correctly...

  96. \/ ..FIBER OPTIC NETWORK, to access a ""full-bandwidth" line...
  97.   ...the code 10333 is needed, that is dial 10333-1-800-000-0000...
  98.   ...this ensures that the FULL bandwidth is available to you...
  99.   ...otherwise, a sudden "No carrier" can result...

  101. Well, this by no means covers all the ways to use RA-BBS with a Compucom
  102. Speedmodem.  But it should help you initially (pun?).  If all else fails,
  103. don't forget to read the doc's!
